The Firm Is Recognized by the Orange County Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America for Media Relations Campaigns on Behalf of Targus, Inc.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA – June 30, 2009 – KLR Communications, a full service public relations agency serving high-tech companies, announced today it has been honored with two Awards of Excellence by the Orange County Public Relations Society of America (OCPRSA), in recognition for its outstanding PR campaigns in 2008. The awards were announced on June 26 th at the 34th annual PROTOS awards ceremony, which was held at Rancho Las Lomas in Silverado, Calif.

KLR Communications was recognized an Award of Excellence for the 2008 Media Relations campaign implemented on behalf of Targus Inc., maker of the world’s top-selling laptop computer cases and accessories. The firm also received an Award of Excellence for the Best Single Media Placement - Print or Broadcast for a CNN segment that featured Targus’ Zip-Thru TSA checkpoint-friendly laptop cases. This adds to the numerous awards KLR has received by the Orange County Public Relations Society of America for public relations and media relations campaigns executed on behalf of its clients.
